Kids from K - 12 welcome
We welcome all kids!
Starting again in September, the club will be open as follows:
Every Tuesday at Kitchener City Hall from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at which time the more advanced kids can join in with the adults and practice at the KW Chess Club
6:00 pm to 7:30 pm - drop in and play some games
Casual chess play
Contests, Puzzles
Learn to play with others at your same level
Good place to just practice and have fun playing the Remarkable game of Chess!
Sunday Afternoons - once a month
200 King St. W., Kitchener
Play in sections according to level and ability
Trophies for section winners
Other prizes too.
12:30 pm - Registration
1:00 pm - short "warm-up" lesson
1:15 - 1:30 pm - round 1 begins
(approx.) 4:30 pm - Awards
(approx.) 5:00 pm - Tournament over.

Each tournament starts at 12:30 pm with Registration
A short "warm-up" lesson follows registration
Each player usually plays 5 games
Awards presentations finish the tournament up.
Tournaments are rated with a national rating system which you can watch as you develop your chess skills.
Entry is $15 and includes a Puzzle Pack and rating fees. Second or third siblings get in for half price.
Pre-Arrange for a group discount!
Sunday parking at Kitchener City Hall is free underground.
