Adam and Carol Cunningham helped out through most of the tournament with refreshments and other general help.

The tournament as a whole had a lot of help from numerous volunteers, making the whole event very successful!

The Under 16 and Under 18 section played their games on the 10 floor of the Kitchener City Hall. A great facility that many masters have enjoyed playing at.

Kids found space to do many different things in between games. These kids found a table to play cards on. Many others took advantage of the opportunity to challenge the master at the simul tables.

FM Hans Jung - performed a marathon 7 hour simul exhibition taking on all challengers on the Friday of the Ontario Youth Chess Championship.

Everyone described him as witty, enjoyable and fun to play against.

Many parents and others joined in to challenge one of the 3 Master players performing the simul exhibitions.
