The CFC is the
Chess Federation of Canada, the official chess organization of Canada for players
of all ages.

Three of the main
functions of the CFC are:

The Ontario Youth Chess Championship
(OYCC) is part of the Canadian
Youth Chess Championship (CYCC) cycle. These tournaments not only determine the
Canadian Team of Youth players that will represent Canada at the World Youth
Chess Championships (This year in Vietnam), but they also raise the funds
required.

CFC Memberships will be available at the OYCC and taking out
the membership will qualify you for the Member discount for the OYCC.

There are two different memberships that can be purchased:

The Ontario Junior Membership in the CFC is $27
(includes a subscription to the quarterly national chess
magazine Chess Canada.)

The Ontario Junior Participating Membership in the CFC is $14
(No Subscription)
