Safety Kleen Public Liaison Committee

The Safety Kleen Public Liaison Committee (PLC) meets every quarter to hear a report from Safety Kleen on operations and the impact that any of the operation may have on the community.

Over the past several years the committee has been involved in tours of the facility, motions that have come before Township Council, and public announcements of expansions.

The committee gives Safety Kleen a focus point for communications with the communities of Breslau and Kitchener.

The committee is made up of residents of Breslau, residents of Kitchener, representatives of the Township of Woolwich and the City of Kitchener, a representative of the Ministry of the Environment and a representative of the company.

Community members may contact me directly (I am currently serving as the committee chair) or contact the PLC through the main phone line at Safety Kleen.

Most of these activities are on a volunteer basis.
