The Waterloo Chess Challenge will qualify some of our youth to the Ontario Provincial Chess Challenge, which in turn will take the winner from each grade-section to the Canadian Chess Challenge as the Ontario team to compete against the other provincial teams.
Grades 1 to 12
This tournament will take place on Thursday April 8, 2010 at Preston High School.
Our approximate schedule will be:

| Round 2 | 11:00 am |
| Round 3 | 12:00 pm |
| Round 4 | 1:00 pm |
| Round 5 | 2:00 pm |
| Playoffs | ASAP - as required for 1st, 2nd, 3rd |
| Awards | 3:00 pm |
| Departure | 3:30 pm |
| Note that we will be attempting to shorten rounds
where available in order to try to allow more time for lunch and playoffs. |

NOTE: April 8 is the grade 10 literacy testing date and so we will have a special schedule for the grade 10 group to play in the afternoon only.
Registration is $12 per player.
Cash only payments will be accepted on-site unless prior arrangements have been
made.
